American Airlines is delighted to be celebrating 25 years of operating from the airport this month.
Both the daily non-stop Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth flights departed on the same day for the first time 25 years ago and in many ways the airline, its staff and passengers have not looked back since. Today the Dallas/Fort Worth flight is operated by a three-class (first, business and economy) Boeing 777, while the Chicago flight is flown by a two-class (business and economy) Boeing 767-300.
Rick Walker, Sales Manager Germany and Austria, American Airlines, commented: "We are delighted to be celebrating 25 years of flying from Frankfurt this month. It is a milestone we are very proud of and we look forward to continuing to fly our loyal passengers from Frankfurt for many more years to come."
